Accessibility
Since June 2025, the European Accessibility Act has made accessibility a legal requirement rather than a nice-to-have. We help you meet it properly, with audits, testing on real screen readers, and an engineering process that keeps accessibility from slipping once the deadline has passed.
Most accessibility work happens too late, bolted on after launch when a complaint or a failed audit forces the issue. By then it’s expensive, and the fixes tend to be compromises. The European Accessibility Act changed the calculation: since June 2025, digital products sold into the EU have to meet accessibility requirements, with EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.2 AA as the measure. For buyers in finance, healthcare, and the public sector, this is no longer about goodwill. It’s compliance, and it’s enforceable.
We were building accessible products long before the law required it. That work runs through enterprise-scale projects for Swiss clients like SBB, where the audience is in the millions and the details have to be right. It shows up in the small decisions: a colour contrast that survives every theme, a focus order that follows the page, a form a blind user can complete without getting stuck.
Automated checkers only catch about a third of what matters, so we don’t stop there. We do hands-on manual testing, and when a project needs full assistive-technology testing on JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack, we run it together with a specialist Swiss accessibility partner. We also wire accessibility into the build itself, so a regression fails the pipeline instead of reaching your users. This site is held to the same rule, checked on every commit. So when we tell you a product is accessible, we can show you the proof.
What we do for you
Accessibility audits
A full audit against WCAG 2.2 AA and EN 301 549 that pairs automated tooling with manual and assistive-technology testing. You get a prioritised report: what's broken, why it matters, and what to fix first.
Remediation
We fix what the audit turns up, from quick contrast and markup corrections to the harder structural work on custom components, then retest to confirm each issue is actually closed.
Accessible by design
Accessibility built into UX and design from the first wireframe, so it's part of the product instead of a retrofit. Catching it early costs a fraction of fixing it after launch.
Design-system accessibility
We make your component library accessible at the source. Get the button, the modal, and the form field right once, and every screen that uses them inherits it.
Team training
Workshops and hands-on review that leave your designers and developers able to hold the standard themselves, so accessibility doesn't depend on us being in the room.
